Urgent rescue of 380 animals.
In a poignant emergency operation, the Animal Disaster Team intervened in collaboration with Help Animals to rescue 380 animals, including 3 emus, in Rotselaar. The scene on site reveals a harrowing picture: over 350 barnyard animals, living in inhuman conditions, the ground strewn with excrement and mud.
Deplorable conditions:
Some of the animals were alarmingly thin, with shocking injuries. Corpses piled up at the back of the property, others trampled in their cages by their fellow creatures, testify to the cruelty of their environment.
The Animal Disaster Team acted quickly to take charge of all the animals, guaranteeing their transfer to the Help Animals shelter and the NatuurHulp Centrum. This rapid intervention was crucial to ensuring that these vulnerable creatures received the care they needed for their recovery.
Once they arrived at the shelter, the animals were entrusted to the expert hands of the professionals at NatuurHulp Centrum and Help Animals, where they will receive the care they need to recover. This collective effort aims to give these mistreated beings a second chance and reintegrate them into respectful living conditions.
