A WEEK DEDICATED TO WILDLIFE RELIEF
Last week was marked by a series of emergency interventions by our ADT - Animal Disaster Team.
It all started with a call for help for some baby owls, trapped in the attic of a house under renovation. In a race against the clock, our teams rushed to rescue these adorable little owls.
Then another emergency call led us to Mons, where an owl was in desperate need of assistance. Without wasting a second, our teams mobilized to respond to this distress call.
But we did not stop there. We were alerted to come to the aid of two injured deer and two others trapped in perilous situations.
At the Total Energies site in Feluy, our teams found a severely wounded deer. With a tendon wound and multiple wounds, the situation was critical. We quickly took charge of the animal and carefully transported it to the Perwez CREAVES for intensive care.
Fortunately, thanks to the rapid and efficient intervention of our teams, all the rescued animals were taken in charge and transported to the Perwez CREAVES to receive the appropriate care. As for the other two trapped deer, they were freed and regained their freedom.
These interventions are just a few examples of the extraordinary work carried out by our ADT teams. Their dedication and courage are invaluable, and thanks to them, many animal lives have been saved. We will continue to be there, ready to respond to any emergency call to protect animals.
