SAVING A WEAKENED HERON

The ADT team received an emergency alert from the Perwez CREAVES for a rescue mission: a heron in great distress had been spotted near Marilles. 

Despite the challenges posed by the situation, our team, equipped with specialized equipment, headed to the indicated locations to rescue this volatile in distress. 

When we arrived, the task turned out to be more complex than expected: the bird, weakened and hidden, was difficult to spot with the naked eye. It was thanks to our thermal drone that we were able to scan the area to locate the bird hidden in the high grass. 

Once detected, the heron, barely able to fly off, was gently taken care of by our team. Our absolute priority was to provide him with the necessary care to enable him to recover and regain his health. Without wasting time, we transported him to CREAVES, where he was taken care of.
