Commitment to animal welfare is at the heart of the ADT team, which recently embarked on a humanitarian mission by supporting a shelter. This commendable initiative led our teams to Welkenraedt, where they worked with dedication to take care of donkeys abandoned by their owners.
Faced with the stubborn nature of these animals, only seven determined volunteers were mobilized to ensure their safe transport to the Tabula Rasa shelter, located in Lens.

Over 60 animals rescued in Kampenhout.

It is with deep concern that the ADT - Animal Disaster Team shares the harrowing details of a recent intervention in Kampenhout, in response to an urgent appeal from Flemish animal welfare. The sad reality is stark: more than 60 animals, including some 20 goats and billy goats, 20 ducks, as well as chickens and geese, were discovered in deplorable conditions, abandoned in a meadow overgrown with mud and excrement.

Rescuing a dog that could not be found in an unsanitary dwelling.

The emergency response of the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, following an alert from the local police, highlights a serious problem of animal neglect. The mission: to locate and rescue a dog still trapped in a house where the unsanitary conditions were reaching alarming levels. Three of his companions had already been evacuated, but he was nowhere to be found.

Rescuers, equipped with flashlights, made their way through the chaos of a home abandoned to trash and abandoned memories. It was in this oppressive environment that they finally spotted the dog, hidden and visibly terrified.

ADT intervenes in support of shelters to rescue many animals in distress in Maurage.

In support of shelters, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) responded to the call of the SPA La Louvière, deploying its teams in emergency to Maurage to help many animals in distress.

On the ground, rescuers discovered heartbreaking scenes: 16 sheep, about 30 goats, and two ponies were kept in deplorable conditions, on a field strewn with debris and dead animals. These apocalyptic conditions not only posed an immediate risk to the health and well-being of the surviving animals, but also underscored the urgency of the response.

Rescue of a badger left for dead near dinant.

An urgent intervention took place near Dinant. In response to an urgent call from Creaves in Namur, reporting an injured badger on the side of the road, our teams quickly mobilized to rescue this animal in distress.

When we arrived at the scene, we discovered a young badger in critical condition, obviously weakened and suffering from serious injuries. Acting quickly, we took the necessary steps to immediately transport the badger to a specialist veterinary care centre, where it could receive the vital care it urgently needed.
