Animal Disaster Team jumps in to save a calf from drowning.
The call to ADT came in urgently, reporting a calf stuck along the railway tracks, near a stream in Hennuyères. On site, our teams located the calf near the railroad bridge, on the banks of the stream. Equipped with nets, our rescuers tried to encircle him to facilitate his extraction. However, the situation took a critical turn when the frightened calf backed up and ran into the water.
Faced with this new emergency, our teams had to act swiftly. The calf could not climb back up the slippery banks, forcing our rescuers to make a considered decision. Without hesitation, they plunged into the stream to hold the calf's head above water, ensuring an imminent rescue.
