ADT team rescues animals from clandestine zoo.

During this intervention, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) responded to an urgent call from Help Animals, concerning an illegal zoo in Houyet. The rescue put an end to the illegal keeping of several animals, including servals, buffaloes and antelopes. Dogs, also kept in deplorable conditions, were also discovered on the premises.

Animal Disaster Team jumps in to save a calf from drowning.

The call to ADT came in urgently, reporting a calf stuck along the railway tracks, near a stream in Hennuyères. On site, our teams located the calf near the railroad bridge, on the banks of the stream. Equipped with nets, our rescuers tried to encircle him to facilitate his extraction. However, the situation took a critical turn when the frightened calf backed up and ran into the water.
Faced with this new emergency, our teams had to act swiftly. The calf could not climb back up the slippery banks, forcing our rescuers to make a considered decision. Without hesitation, they plunged into the stream to hold the calf's head above water, ensuring an imminent rescue.

Animal Disaster Team lends a hand to rescue over 300 abused animals.

In an emergency response, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) answered a call in Chastre, joining forces with other associations to save over 300 abused animals. Dogs, cats, donkeys, ponies, chickens and birds were all victims of neglect, living in inhuman conditions. The team of ADT volunteers made heroic efforts for over 12 hours to ensure the complete rescue of these animals, although the scene was marked by the tragic discovery of several corpses.

A rescue operation: freeing condemned pigeons from a church in Moustier.

In a daring intervention, the ADT team carried out a high-risk rescue operation, diving more than 20 meters into the weakened roof of the Moustier church. The aim: to save pigeons deliberately condemned to certain death.
The operation: yesterday, specialized teams, equipped with the appropriate equipment, worked with extreme caution within the church's unstable framework. For several hours, their mission was to free the trapped pigeons, which had been intentionally left locked up. Sadly, over 60 of these animals perished in deplorable conditions.

Rescue of 3 billy goats abandoned by their sick owner.

The dedicated ADT - Animal Disaster Team responded to an urgent call to rescue three billy goats that had been neglected by a sick person living alone in La Louvière.
These poor animals had endured over a week without being fed, a direct consequence of their owner's failing health. Wandering into the neighbor's garden, they attracted the attention of kind souls who immediately alerted the appropriate services.

Urgent rescue of 380 animals.

In a poignant emergency operation, the Animal Disaster Team intervened in collaboration with Help Animals to rescue 380 animals, including 3 emus, in Rotselaar. The scene on site reveals a harrowing picture: over 350 barnyard animals, living in inhuman conditions, the ground strewn with excrement and mud.
